Kidix is a learning companion for children. Windy explains the same question at your child's level, asks one check question before moving on, and sends you a weekly summary. Not tutoring. Not social. Not surveillance. Kidix is pre-launch; the waitlist is open.
Two short films, two sides of the same situation: a child never says which subject is lost, and the time goes somewhere you cannot see; what is missing is usually just the first move.
It does not just explain and move on. Windy re-explains the same question at your child's level, then asks one check question — and only continues once your child has actually caught on. Not a quiz. A pause that stops "I guess I get it" from piling up.
The same question, re-explained at the depth your child can actually follow — not a single answer to copy.
Before moving on, Windy asks one question about what was just explained, to gather clues about what actually landed.
Only after the child has caught on does the next step follow. Nothing is assumed from a nod.
You don't have to hover to know. Every week you get a summary: what your child asked, where they got stuck, and where to pick up next week. Not a surveillance log — a weekly account you can actually read.
The questions your child brought that week, in plain language.
The points that did not land, so you know what to look at together.
One concrete place to start next week — not a report card.
Said plainly, because these are the three things parents ask about first.
Kidix is not a tutoring centre or a human tutor service. No live teaching, no assigned homework, no grading.
Kidix is not a children's social platform. No child-to-child messaging, friending, or public sharing.
Kidix is not parental surveillance software. No screen monitoring, no location tracking, no call recording.
The purchase decision here is a parent's, not a child's. So the controls are built around the parent.
The parent account is the main account; a child exists as a learning profile inside it, with no separate child login and no way for a child to open an account alone.
The waitlist asks for an email address and a year group. Nothing else is collected to join.
A parent can request deletion of the learning profile and its records. Details will be published in the privacy notice before launch.
Kidix runs in the browser. No new phone for your child, no extra app store account, no "Mum, can you install this for me."
Short answers. Where something is not decided yet, we say so.
Leave your email and your child's year group. We write to you when Windy opens, and not before. No card, no commitment.
